Ingredients
- 100 g unsalted butter
- 1 cup of brown sugar
- 250 ml of Melosa
- 1 egg yolk
- 250 g sifted flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp ground cloves
- 1 tsp ground ginger
- 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
Procedure
- Mix the butter, brown sugar, the Melosa and the egg yolk.
- The flour is mixed separately with salt, bicarbonate, cinnamon, cloves, ginger and nutmeg. This is incorporated into the mix from the previous step until a smooth dough is obtained.
- Refrigerate this dough for at least 3 hours.
- Then remove and roll out the dough with a rolling pin to a thickness of 1/2 cm.
- Preheat the stove to 180 degrees.
- Cut with molds (whatever you have) or make balls and place them on a pre-greased tray.
- Bake for 9 to 12 minutes until golden brown and cool. (Decorate optional).
